“Some of us are a bit OCD,” we said, looking in the mirror. If this sounds like you, we have some advice. Every trading day, an email arrives from GAIN Capital with the day’s trading results. The email shows completed and open trades. If you really want to look at this email, then do so. If you are looking, try and look at the completed trades and ignore the open trades, or simply glance at the current balance at the bottom of the email. A previous blog post, Anatomy of a Trade, should explain this advice. However, the short recap is that you need to trust the RobovestFX trading robot.
If you get even more into the weeds, for example checking a program like MetaTrader4 multiple times a day, the same advice pertains: trust the RobovestFX robot. If you can’t help yourself, start noting the time of day the trades are initiated and completed. Go ahead and look, we’ll wait. Whether you looked for the information on your daily email or inside of the MetaTrader4, you should realize that trades are happening 24-hours a day. Honestly, you have other things to do. So, help yourself and break away from trying to follow the trades multiple times a day. You aren’t going to change any trade, and it will just drive you crazy trying to figure out what is happening.
Really, you don’t have to be OCD to successfully trade Forex. You have the RobovestFX team doing the work for you. So, put on those blinders and get on with your life. You’ll thank us for the advice. Really, and you only have to thank us once.
